Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Previous experience working with Operations, Quality or Manufacturing teams or projects a plus
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, and statistical analysis using tools like Python, R, VBA, or SQL.
  • Data Visualization: Ability to create clear and informative visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and others.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to tackle complex data-related challenges and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication to convey findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

POSITION ROLE TYPE:

Remote
We are currently looking for a Business / Data Analytics Co-op to join our team full time for the Spring/Summer 2025 session within our Mission Systems Quality organization. This position is for a student in the field of data analytics and/or programming interested in learning about how Operations organizations utilize Quality-related metrics to analyze and determine key drivers of customer and product quality. If selected, this person will become familiar with Quality and Operations data and build reports that provide proactive information to help leadership prioritize focus and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Analyze data sources to understand how to more efficiently pull information from multiple heritage business systems
  • Learn Quality-related metrics such as product acceptance (Defective Parts per Million); Scrap, Rework & Repair (SRR), On-time Delivery, Supplier Escapes
  • Help automate the retrieval of data from multiple sources to improve stakeholder efficiencies
  • Work with Data Strategy and Analytics Specialist to build proactive reports that allow leaders to better analyze key trends in the business
