JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

Thrindle is on the lookout for an experienced Business Development talent to join its team. The ideal candidate must be a focused team player, with great communication, and negotiation skills. As a Business Developer at Thrindle, you will create and implement business development strategies, which focus on increasing revenue and expanding our market and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and expand markets
  • Build relationships with senior-level decision-makers at prospective clients, suppliers, and partners
  • Manage the sales process from proposal to contract execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain a database of valuable targets and opportunities, monitoring industry trends and competitor activity
  • Prospect, target, pitch, and secure new business partnerships
  • Develop and deliver customized solutions, using storytelling to sell-in partnership ideas
  • Facilitate ideation and lead cross-functional brainstorms to inform creative solutions
  • Liaise with colleagues to uncover new business opportunities

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Successful track record building business in Nigeria, with a strong understanding of the market and network of relationships
  • High-level connectivity and ability to attain and exceed targets
  • Entrepreneurial approach with strong business fundamentals
  • Business knowledge, with a thorough understanding of industry trends and marketing channels
  • Strategic thinker with strong persuading and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a matrixed organization
  • Bachelor’s degree required
