Description:

We are TWTG. And since 2012 we have been engineering and producing sensors. Wireless sensors for the oil and gas industry. Sensors to make sites safer and smarter. Sensors designed for high volume and international deployments.
With a group of highly motivated people we work every day to grow a little bit bigger. We do this from our HQ in Rotterdam where engineers sit next to business developers during joint lunches.
We don’t believe there are many companies out there that can do what we do and we want to do more of it - we have the customers to back up our claims.
Our ambition is to scale and be dominant on a global level.
For this we need to find the specialists that can support and bring their own perspective to our ambition. If that’s you, we’d like to hear from you.

THE JOB:

We are looking for an engaged and involved business development expert, who has a proven track record in international sales. The sales numbers alone are not the only thing that counts, it is the finesse in searching out new business opportunities, writing winning proposals, and cultivating customer relationships, which make the difference. Being well versed in political and interpersonal skills at different levels of the corporate hierarchy, will make you stand out.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Experience in B2B sales;
  • Politically skilled and emotionally intelligent;
  • Understanding of the technical cornerstones of our solutions;
  • Internationally versed;
  • Multi-lingual (spoken and written proficiency in English is a prerequisite);
  • Familiar with standard procurement processes;
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is advantageous;

Above all we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, who can hit the ground running and is a good communicator to pick up the nitty gritty fast and easy.

Fitting in with the rest of the team is important, as without each other we cannot be successful and this is a key aspect of working with us.

  • Can wrap technically complex tasks into easily understandable explanations;
  • Are adept at problem solving, even though you’ve not encountered some before;
  • Have a knack for understanding the challenges that our customers are facing;
  • Are concise and to the point;
  • Can rely on yourself to find the right people to talk to;
  • Are relatable and empathetic;
  • Have excellent technical skills that create the backbone of your customer engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINE

  • Bachelor, Master or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial role;
  • Experience in international BD, sales, procurement roles;
  • Corporate experience;
  • Able and willing to travel internationally;
  • Ability to grasp and understand new topics quickly and make decisions wisely.
