Thisis a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise as a Business Development AccountExecutive with our On Board Courier (OBC) Team and contribute to the continuedsuccess of a leading global brand. Join our dynamic OBC Team out of our Cologneor Frankfurt locations!
We will provide the successful candidatewith any necessary training, as well as the industry know-how.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • Toprovide detailed market analysis in order to facilitate targeted and specificsales campaigns for the OBC product.
  • Toliaise with operations and sales teams in all OBC offices and fostercollaboration.
  • Totarget outreach to sectors as directed by the VP of Sales
  • To workas needed on various special business development, risk, legal and salesprojects.
  • Tomaximize business opportunities by offering customers tailored-made solutionsto meet with clients requests within budgetary and operational restrictions,while making suitable profit for the Company.
  • Tobuild strong productive relationships with clients to ensure businessobjectives are achieved.
  • Growthe current and new customer total Gross Profit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

  • Toproactively identify opportunities to grow the business in new and existingmarkets to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Useinitiative to identify new potential areas for business development.
  • Keep upto date with competitor activity to identify business opportunities.
  • Worktowards and in line with all agreed group sales and operations strategies.
  • Worktowards agreed and measurable performance targets.
  • Work inpartnership with the local broker departments by providing them with allrelevant information.
  • To continuallydevelop knowledge of all business sectors.

Client Relationship Management

  • Liaisewith operations and corporate development departments to optimize sales growthfor the group as well as streamlining internal processes.
  • Marketthe company services to new prospect customers by telephone or E-mail toactively develop new areas of business.
  • Visitingpotential, new and existing customers with a view to generate further business.
  • Maintainand develop relationships with both key clients and new business leads tomaximise business opportunities and increase client loyalty in an industrywhere client retention is never guaranteed.

Information Management

  • In atimely manner as defined by the Manager, record all pertinent customer prospectinformation and sales activity in the CRM system.
  • Keep upto date on latest operational capabilities.
  • Keep upto date on latest OBC procedures.
  • Keep upto date on competitor activities and market trends.
