Description:

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Degree qualified, preferably in Marketing or a related field, from a recognised University.

  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights with market research tools and methodologies is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • IT Literate
  • Fluent in Arabic, Saudi National Preferable
  • ‘Can-do’ attitude

Responsibilities:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Commercial Executive, specialising in Sport, Culture and Entertainment at our agency, your primary responsibility will be to:

  • Evaluate the market size for the products and services we offer, undertake a competitive analysis,
  • Monitor the market growth and understand and identify where the opportunities for Business Development and expansion lie.
  • Play a crucial role in identifying areas with the greatest growth potential for our agency, RISE, UAE markets – including potential clients/leads.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Typical responsibilities within these focus areas include:
Comprehensive Sector Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of the sport, culture and entertainment sectors that RISE operates in, including Partnerships & Activations, Venue Commercialisation, Sales, and Consultancy. Utilise various research methodologies such as desk-based research, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis to determine revenue potential.
Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor’s activities and strategies within the sector. Identify areas where RISE can differentiate itself and capitalise on untapped opportunities - Evaluate their approach to projects, value proposition, charge out rates and credentials.
Market Positioning: Identify our agency’s strengths and weaknesses in comparison to competitors within each service division. Determine where we hold a larger market share and where we lag in offerings.
Data Collection: Gather insights from clients, competitors, potential leads, government entities and other stakeholders to inform our BD business decisions.
Strategic Planning & Opportunity Identification: Develop a well-defined plan on companies we intend to approach based on the data found.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platform: Ensure all of the data captured is updated.
The successful candidate will be client facing and expected to attend some meetings, take minutes, and implement action points to manage projects successfully.
