Description:

Our Client is a leading player in the pharmaceutical industry and is dedicated to providing high-quality products and services to our customers are looking for a highly motivated and connected Business Development Associate to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive network and industry knowledge to build strategic relationships, drive revenue growth, and expand our market share and report directly to Business Development Manager/Director

QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS

HND/Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Chemistry, Biology, Medicine or a related field (very necessary)
At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the pharmaceutical sector as well as Clinic/Hospitals (non-negotiable requirement)
Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong industry knowledge and network in the pharmaceutical sector
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Experience working with multinational pharmaceutical companies
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical sector
Experience with data analysis and market research tools.

Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, including partnerships, collaborations, and tenders
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, distributors, healthcare professionals, and government agencies
Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful partnership implementation and management
Drive revenue growth through the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities
Meet and exceed sales targets, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
Provide regular sales reports and updates to management
Leverage existing network and connections in the pharmaceutical sector to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
Continuously expand and develop network through attendance at industry events, conferences, and meetings
Engage with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, government agencies, and industry associations, to promote company products and services
