POSITION SUMMARY:
The role engages with the mortgage broker community to understand their needs and act as a reverse mortgage expert by initiating and managing sales conversations, building relationships, and guiding mortgage brokers through the sales process remotely. The BDA collaborates closely with the in-field sales team, maintains accurate records of interactions, and contributes to achieving sales targets.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
- Generate revenue and achieve individual, team, and organizational quotas, while also contributing to sales strategy by defining and implementing plans to achieve sales objectives for a defined territory, managing it remotely
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets contributing to the overall organizational objectives
- Close sales by effectively managing the sales process by acting as the primary contact from origination to funding supporting both internal partners and the mortgage broker
- Develop a sales approach that focuses on creating relationships through exceptional customer service and deep product-knowledge to recommend HEB products
- Assist with the onboarding of new Mortgage Brokers
- Maintain and grow relationships within the broker community by providing outstanding and efficient service and resolving issues in a timely manner. Ensure a smooth transition of multi-funding brokers to local in-field sales representatives
- Manage assigned relationships via Salesforce
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, underwriting, and other sales teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to serving the broker community
- Team up with the local Business Development Manager on attending industry trade shows and eventsacting as the HEB contact for the market, promoting HEB as a trusted solution, and network for new relationships
QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
- Progressive financial services Inside Sales experience, in credit or mortgage brokering preferred
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
