JOB SUMMARY:

Altus is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director (BDD) to spearhead the expansion of our affiliate network and contribute to the execution of our enterprise growth strategy. This key leadership role will focus on identifying and establishing new affiliate partnerships that are aligned with Altus Groups business objectives, while also nurturing existing relationships to drive continued growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, a solid understanding of affiliate marketing, and the ability to think strategically with a long-term business vision.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record in business development, ideally within tech sales or high-level recruitment sectors.
  • B2B experience with the ability to manage full sales cycles and drive revenue growth.
  • Affiliate marketing experience is a plus, but not essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strategic thinker with the capacity to operate at a high level and converse effectively with senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

Affiliate Program Growth & Development:

  • Identify and engage potential affiliate partners to broaden Altus’ network.
  • Design and implement strategies to attract and recruit high-value affiliates aligned with Altus’ brand and business goals.
  • Manage and optimize relationships with current affiliates to maximize opportunities and long-term engagement.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Collaborate closely with the senior leadership team to shape and implement the company’s enterprise strategy.
  • Contribute to the broader business development agenda by identifying new market opportunities and potential partnerships.
  • Partner with internal teams across marketing, sales, and product to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business strategies.

Market Intelligence & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of emerging industry trends, assess the competitive landscape, and explore areas for expansion.
  • Leverage data insights to evaluate affiliate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance and drive growth.

Relationship Management & Negotiation:

  • Develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with affiliates, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiate and secure partnership agreements with new affiliates, ensuring terms that align with Altus’ strategic interests.
  • Represent Altus at key industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and driving new business opportunities.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track and report on affiliate program performance, focusing on key metrics such as growth rates, conversion, and ROI.
  • Deliver comprehensive reports to senior management on the status of affiliate relationships and overall business development efforts.
