Description:

Business Development / Solutions Director
UK Wide - Full Time
We are looking for a new Business Development Director to join the team specialising within Cleaning services across the UK. You will work to develop and implement a programme of activity to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders and potential customers, improving awareness of Mitie commercial FM capabilities.

Main duties are:

  • To maximise opportunities for new business and to lead the business development process and negotiations with the customer/ client in order to win profitable contracts.
  • To source, lead and manage UK new business development opportunities for cleaning services
  • To support the IFM Solutions team as a cleaning service “subject matter expert” providing commercial intelligence
  • To build a visible pipeline
  • To achieve agreed financial targets

You will have proven experience of working successfully in a facilities management environment in a Solutions or Business Development position ideally within the Cleaning industry but this is not essential. You will also have experience of managing and participating in project teams that work, adopting project management disciplines. You will be able to deliver strong consistent win rations against target and be a commercial thinker understanding negotiation and be committed to continuous improvement
