Description:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record in business development and sales specifically in the convenience and wholesale sector.
  • An understanding of the retail industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a field based setting.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in Convenience and Wholesale Sales Cycles.
  • Knowledge of distribution models.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our team in Scotland. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market reach. This role can either be freelance, self employed or full time for the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target industries.
  • Sales Process: Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
