YOUR BUSINESS

Business & Private Bank (B&PB) offer a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, enterprise customers along with our regional and agribusiness customers.
The core purpose of this role is to help deliver sustained profitable growth for the Bank by effectively and responsibly originating new business opportunities (principally commercial transactions) suitable for funding by the Bank from accredited intermediaries.
New business acquisition is a core strategic priority for B&PB and the Group. Accredited intermediaries are an important and growing source of new business for B&PB. Broker Agency & Specialist Services was established to help capture this opportunity.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in commerce, accounting or business-related discipline
  • Post Graduate qualifications in relevant disciplines will be viewed favourably.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering outcomes consistent with agreed performance plans and metrics
  • Developing strong productive relationships with a portfolio of accredited broker intermediaries
  • Developing and support the maintenance of a Risk Aware business culture.
  • Managing the business in a manner consistent with the Groups values.
  • Building and maintaining productive working relationships with key internal stakeholders and business partners
  • Establishing and maintaining Service delivery to agreed standards.
  • Conducting business activities within agreed and defined compliance and operating standards
  • You will be expected to ensure that you engage and conduct yourself in a client and Group centric manner at all times.
  • Reporting to the State Manager of Broker Agency & Specialist Services, this role will be required to drive activity across the commercial origination function in your state. In this role you will be part of the Broker Agency & Specialist Services team.
  • In this role you will be expected to adopt a nationally consistent approach to broker relationship management, engagement and sales management to position B&PB as a leading provider of business lending products and solutions sourced through the intermediary channel.
