SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Proven experience in a B2B or B2C sales environment.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience in developing and managing long-term business relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM software (preferably Salesforce) and a high level of IT proficiency.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven by success.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the region as required.
Performance Indicators:
- Achievement of monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
- Number of new B2B/B2C accounts acquired.
- Client retention and satisfaction rates.
- Quality and completeness of CRM data.
- Engagement and attendance at networking events and client meetings.
For this role you will need strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work independently and interdependently as required.

Responsibilities:
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our taxi business in the Nottinghamshire and the surrounding East Midlands region. This role involves developing and managing B2B and B2C sales strategies, nurturing key relationships, identifying new opportunities, and enhancing customer engagement. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, target-driven, and thrives in a dynamic environment. This person will work closely with our Sales Support Executive team and report directly to the Sales Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement sales plans to drive B2C and B2B revenue growth across the Nottinghamshire and East Midlands region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and cold calling to closing deals and onboarding new clients.
- Proactively seek new B2B partnerships with local businesses, corporate clients, and community organisations.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to contribute to overall company growth.
