Description:

We are seeking to appoint a Business Development Executive to join our team based in
Knockloughrim to assist with the development of suitable sales opportunities, using industry sources and organising quality meetings for the external sales teams with targeted customer groups.
The successful candidate will be tasked with:
· Identify new projects by scrutinizing Barbour ABI and planning leads.
· Setting up meetings for our external sales team
· Co-ordinating CPD presentations with targeted customer groups
· Contact new and current customers to gain new business projects
· Scrutinise planning leads for new sales opportunities
· Use LinkedIn to identify potential new business targets
· Follow up on website enquiries to gain new business leads
· Follow up on mailers where customers have clicked and opened the emails to gain new business
· Updating the company CRM system
· Providing regular support to our area sales teams
· Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health & Safety

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

· Business development experience
· Knowledge of the construction industry
· Telephone selling/tele marketing experience
· CRM experience
· Experience working with Barbour ABI or Glenigans
· Experience of using LinkedIn to identify customers to develop brand awareness
· Experience dealing with Architects and Engineers in relation to product specification
· Hold a valid driving licence
