Job Title: Business Development Executive – Defence Sector
Location: UK, with occasional travel

About the Role:
We are looking for SEVERAL driven and dynamic Business Development Executives to join our client’s team, a leading Defence solutions provider. This role will focus on selling our comprehensive suite of Defence technologies and capabilities across air, land, and sea. Ideally suited to individuals with experience working within the NATO/MOD/Armed Forces landscape or those with a deep understanding of military and Defence needs, this role requires a passion for connecting cutting-edge Defence solutions with critical customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Grow Business: Identify, pursue, and close business opportunities across the air, land, and sea Defence sectors, aligning with the client’s solutions to meet the needs of Defence and government clients.
  • Market Knowledge: Leverage expertise in the Defence sector, particularly NATO environments, to influence key stakeholders and position The client as a trusted solutions provider.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with military clients, including Army, Navy, and RAF. Tailor communication and sales approaches to resonate with those who understand Defence needs at a granular level.
  • Drive Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute effective sales strategies across various Defence capabilities, and report on KPIs and growth targets.
  • Represent The client: Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to network, stay abreast of market trends, and promote the client’s innovative Defence solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Military Background Advantage: Ideal candidates include Army, Navy, or RAF leavers with a strong understanding of Defence operations, terminology, and language.
  • Business Development Experience: 2-3 years in a Defence, government, or technology-driven sales environment; experience selling to NATO or Defence agencies is a significant advantage.
  • Young, Ambitious Sales Professional: We’re looking for someone hungry, eager to learn, and ready to drive growth with a proactive approach.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to engage in meaningful dialogue with senior military and Defence personnel, understanding their challenges and needs.
  • Team Player: Able to work cross-functionally, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the client’s growth objectives.
