Tasks
This is a key role in the next phase of our growth strategy as we expand into Germany, offering a fantastic opportunity to be the face and person driving the very first relationships we build as we enter this new market.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Renewables and will be responsible for:
- Identifying, contacting and onboarding generators to the Renewable Exchange platform
- Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders across the renewable energy industry
- Support in all marketing areas including website translation and brand materials
- Managing the PPA tender processes to completion and ensuring total satisfaction for our clients
- Support our energy supplier partners and drive their engagement with our platform
- Reporting on tenders to ensure every generator we work with gets the very best price for their power
- Account management to develop long-term strategic client relationships
Requirements
Key Skills
- Top level verbal communication ability in English and German
- Motivation and personal ambition to achieve great results in a small, fast growing environment
- Energy market knowledge would be an advantage
- Prior sales or front of house experience would be an advantage
The Person
The ideal candidate will be a curious, ambitious individual with a willingness to learn and develop. Someone who enjoys being sociable with clients and prospective clients on the phone. No prior experience of renewable energy is required. We are looking for someone with:
- Degree educated
- Numerically astute
- Prior experience in a sales or business development role is an advantage
- A confident and sociable communicator, at ease making conversation with anyone and everyone
- A self starter with strong commercial acumen
- A keen eye for attention to detail
- Quick learner and team player
