QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a business development role, ideally in professional services
- Confident, friendly and calm manner on the phone
- Ability to quickly develop an understanding of and empathy with a small business owner audience
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
The role’s primary purpose is to source prospective new clients and cross-sell new services to our existing clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, research and qualify new potential clients and key contacts to build targeted lead lists
- Develop a clear understanding of the accounting services that Gravita offers and the profile of businesses and individuals that become clients in order to have consultative conversations with prospective clients
- Proactively reach out to prospective clients through an omni-channel approach (phone, email, LinkedIn) to promote Gravita’s services
- Answer inbound new client enquiries that come through the Gravita website via phone and web form
- Engage with potential clients on the phone, through following a consultative questioning process and actively listening to their challenges and opportunities
- Set-up calls between prospective clients and Gravita Partners and follow up to make sure prospects attend meetings
- Build and nurture strong relationships with potential clients to drive new business opportunities
- Manage and maintain the sales Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to record activity and help to build an understanding of the sales funnel
