About the role
We seek a talented, results driven Business Development Executive/Manager - Corporate who has a track record of collaborating working within, and thriving in, a competitive hospitality Sales environment.
The Business Development Executive/Manager’s primary role is to establish, build and diversify robust sales pipelines, to in turn help shape the long-term sales strategies and continuous growth across both Stamford Adelaide properties.
We seek an excitable professional who is ready to make a tangible contribution to the growing South Australian tourism and hospitality industry.
This position reports to the Area Director of Sales.
Core requirements of your role
Take a proactive approach to client relationship cultivation, through personable and genuine interactions via phone and face-to-face
Contribute to and implement sales strategies to secure nominated market share
Pursue, identify, review and win new business opportunities
Maintain current knowledge of competitor offerings, minimise impact on our competitive strategies
Sell the hotels as a total concept, ensuring maximum business in all areas including rooms, conferences, food and beverage
Maintain accurate client information in relevant internal databases
Act as the primary point of contact for client sales enquiries, and either support or independently conduct site inspections as required
Collaborate closely with the Area Director of Sales and Sales team to achieve preset KPIs and objectives that are conductive
Liaise with key stakeholders and provide timely and friendly feedback to create and maintain outstanding rapport with prospective and existing clients, both internally and
Proactively participate in Sales meetings, coming armed with innovation ideas to show a solution-oriented perspective to Sales for the prosperity of our Adelaide properties.
