Job Description:
The Business Development Executive will be instrumental in driving the adoption of renewable energy solutions in Ireland’s commercial sector. This role involves identifying opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and positioning Shannon Energy as a trusted partner in meeting sustainability and energy efficiency goals. As Ireland transitions towards 80% renewable electricity generation by 2030, you will play a key role in helping businesses reduce their carbon footprint, lower energy costs, and comply with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and engage potential commercial clients
Present tailored proposals for solar PV solutions, including rooftop, ground-mounted, and carport systems.
Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring an excellent client experience.
Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and conferences to represent Shannon Energy and generate leads.
Provide expert advice to clients on the benefits of renewable energy solutions and energy efficiency.
Stay updated on market trends, government incentives, and renewable energy policies to advise clients effectively.
Provide regular updates to management on sales activity and business development progress.
