JOB DESCRIPTION

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive, in our Sales team in Worcester, UK. The successful applicant will work as part of the team and report directly to the Sales Manager. They will be required to proactively generate sales leads with the existing account management, business development and marketing functions.
The candidate should have an interest and a broad understanding across various Hosting solutions, including platforms, servers, storage, security and networks.
The successful candidate would be working on the SimplyHosting.com, SimplyHosting.cloud, Catalyst2, UKDedicated and GURU brands in the UK.
You will work closely with new and existing clients to understand each of their individual needs and proactively expand the portfolio of services that we provide.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Confident telephone mannerism.
  • Experience as a Sales professional with a can do and positive attitude to learn.
  • Possess some product/technology/industry knowledge would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Considerable time on the phone to the existing customer base & potential customers.
  • Upselling and cross-sell products and services.
  • First point of contact to new customers with an objective to ensure they have a product fit for purpose.
  • Work closely with new and existing clients to understand each of their individual needs.
  • Proactively expand the portfolio of services that we provide.
