Description:

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our existing commercial team. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience of sales prospecting potential customers for new business, developing leads from marketing campaigns, outreach work to a target audience and meeting sales quotas.
You will use your personal communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also offer an outstanding after-sales service to new clients you have on-boarded.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven work experience in Business Development, Sales Management, or a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold outreach work)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analysing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Developed online presence.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of SaaS (desirable)

Responsibilities:

  • Skilled and fearless sales prospector.
  • Develop and execute focused introductory content for emails, messages, media channels and cold calls.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Present our company to potential clients.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Customise product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Demonstrate outstanding industry knowledge after period of training.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales Leaders.
  • Report to the Business Development Manager (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results.
  • Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
