Description:

We are an opportunity for a Business Development intern with Mandarin language to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where you will be responsible for responsible for the daily account management of Honeywell trademark licensees; trains the trademark licensees in the brand standards, the new product approval process and contract compliance measures. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Being enrolled in last-year Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in marketing or related field
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin languages
  • Some experience in product management, product development or marketing communications would be a plus
  • Experience with consumer durable goods licensing is preferred, either as licensor or licensee
  • Some knowledge of marketing principles and social media management and some understanding of product development and marketing
  • Able to learn, understand and teach brand standards and corporate identity, recognize appropriate product positioning and go-to-market strategies that comply with contractual obligations

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all daily aspects of trademark licensee product and collateral approvals and support training new licensees - and their new personnel - in the brand standards and the product approval process.
  • Arrange licensees to be set up in and trained on the BrandComply approval system.
  • Support review press release and similar marcom material for brand and contract compliance, and route inside Honeywell marcom and legal for approval.
  • Support coordinating tradeshow participation, such as the Canton Fair and Hardware Show; if appropriate, design and oversee construct exhibit booth and set schedules for participation.
  • Help achieve financial and non-financial goals by providing prompt and proper approvals of licensee products.
  • Understand product categories and related competitions to properly approve proposed new product and positioning
  • Know key aspects of a consumer products business including manufacturing, marketing, quality, delivery and customer service.
  • Work closely with licensees to ensure that the quality and reliability of the products meet Honeywell standards and coordinate Licensing Social Media program and Licensees efforts.
