EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in the Compressed Air/Gas or Industrial Filtration sectors is essential

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High calibre, degree (or equivalent) qualified. Ideally in a business, marketing, engineering discipline
  • IT Fluency - comfortable with digital technology, e.g., MS Project, PowerPoint, CRM, digital communication platforms and statistical analysis software

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target new, strategically important, high-value customers, partnerships, or routes to market in the target market segments and applications
  • Take responsibility for strategy definition and implementation. Understand which market strategies can be used to attract clients, increase market share, and maximise profitability
  • Understand the target markets
  • Drive market awareness and demand generation activities; working closely with the Marketing Manager, to create campaigns, promotions and thought leadership material, to position Walker Filtration as an authority in our target industries
  • Preparing and presenting customer proposals, product presentations and related sales enablement material
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure that the product portfolio meets the requirements of the target markets
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on corporate competitors
  • Provide reports as necessary to the senior management team, to include updates on sales activity, competitor activity & general market intelligence
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills
  • Adhere to health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care of equipment
