We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Canberra team to drive growth in current and emerging markets.

Responsibilities:

As our Business Development Manager, you will work closely with and report to, our Vice President Business Development, Asia-Pacific region in embedding our C2 software solutions in Defence and related customers across the region, focused on Australia.

Duties include:

  • Development of new markets and distribution channels with a focus on maritime and joint.
  • Distribution of complex software products and associated services as a complete solution, with responsibility for order intake for assigned customers within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Coordination of internal and external stakeholders in campaigns. Consistent positioning of Systematic as a relevant software manufacturer.
  • Preparation of offers, professional management of tender and quotation teams, and negotiation of contracts.
  • Presentation of products and solutions at events with customers and industry, and participation in relevant conferences and trade fairs.
  • Development and maintenance of account plans as part of the sales strategy for Asia Pacific.
  • Input to product development by providing and processing customer and market information for the corresponding specialist departments.
  • Maintenance and expansion of the customer database, reporting ongoing activities to the Vice President, Business Development, Asia Pacific.
