DESCRIPTION

The Business Development Manager will work in coordination with the Vice President, Sales to grow sales throughout the Asian market with a focus on sourcing new business from new and existing clients.
The ideal candidate will be able to quickly map prospects’ potential needs to ABI Research’s capabilities. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role requiring proficiency in sales systems to effectively identify the best prospects across all inbound activity. In addition to inbound, the Business Development Manager will work to build relationships proactively through planned and coordinated outbound activity.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

ABI Research is looking for an independently motivated Sales Manager who can manage their time and juggle multiple activities. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of B2B sales experience
  • Fluency in Mandarin, while not required, is highly desired
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales tools
  • Strong telephone and written communication skills
  • A genuine passion for technology
  • Experience selling syndicated research and consulting services and/or SAAS
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Singapore or the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

Sell the full suite of ABI Research services (syndicated research services, advisory services, and consulting) by:

  • Triaging inbound leads and engage accordingly
  • Building, maintaining and growing strong commercial relationships with new and assigned clients
  • Assisting Vice President, Sales renew existing, recurring business and identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities
  • Coordinating with marketing to build automated, tailored sales sequences to continually engage prospects with relevant material and messaging
  • Attending regional trade shows and events, coordinating and attending meetings at the events
  • Maintain accurate CRM data to facilitate future outreach
