Please note: whilst this is predominantly a remote role, we are specifically looking for candidates that are based in the Southwest of England as there will be an element of client travel across the Southwest.
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing commercial team, providing an opportunity to work with a wide range of our B2B prospects. Reporting into our Commercial Director, you will be responsible for territory planning, building a sales pipeline and winning new customers across the Southwest of England. Supported by a team of appointment setting SDR’s and a lead generation platform, you’ll be afforded the opportunity to build quality relationships with prospective customers through a consultative sales approach. Responsibilities:
- Successfully hitting your monthly and quarterly sales targets with the full support of the business
- Plan a sales strategy for the Southwest region and execute on this strategy
- Creating a qualified new business pipeline with target B2B businesses, with a strong appreciation of personal contribution, a planning mindset and excellent funnel management
- Collaborating with Leadership, Onboarding and Customer Success to ensuring the best pre and post-sales experience for the client
- Maintain close contact with the client when closing deals to encourage urgency and maximise deal value
- Updating and inputting accurate data into the CRM and utilising tools such as Sales Navigator and lead gen tools
