Job Purpose:
In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining constructive relationships with target accounts. You will focus on multiple sectors, creating and following up on opportunities. You will establish the right contacts and build your network, ensuring that you engage with key decision-makers.
A Business Development Manager is adept at recognizing new opportunities and immediately capitalizing on them. Additionally, you are able to create an open atmosphere where you can advise your contacts on how DHL Supply Chain’s solutions can help them achieve their goals. To convince potential clients, you will develop, present, and arrange the right logistics solutions. You will also participate in negotiations and ensure that deals are successfully closed.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Who we are looking for:
- Prior supply chain related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Based in Bajío (Guanajuato, Querétaro, Michoacán, Jalisco, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosí and Zacatecas)
- English communication skills
- Strong commercial and communication and project management skills.
- Knowledge on how to translate business concepts into products and services.
- Persuasive, result-oriented, flexible, analytical, creative, and team-focused.
