Description:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The list of duties and responsibilities, which follow, represents the broad range of tasks, which may be required to be undertaken either routinely or periodically, with consultation and agreement by the post holder. To develop business strategies aligned with the companys objectives, whilst considering factors such as market trends, competitive landscape and resource allocation To analyse business needs, market dynamics and business opportunities to develop those strategies that help to sustain, develop and grow our business To negotiate terms with customer and other stakeholders in conjunction with Senior Management Team To build ongoing relationships from prospect to initial contact, to new business - through regular communication, meetings and site visits To research and identify new markets where the organisation can expand business Accurately forecast and deliver revenue against sales plan Collating statistics, including sales projections and providing regular reports when required for EMT and Board Level Work closely with internal teams to produce tender submissions that meet the organisations expectations Support Senior Management Team with commercial direction and complex negotiations Any other reasonable duties that fall within the nature of this post. DUTY OF CANDOUR A duty of candour is a commitment to being open and honest with Patients when something goes wrong with their treatment or care of causes, or has the potential to cause harm or distress. BARDOC promotes a culture of being open, honest and transparent.
Patients are provided with care that is safe, effective and based on best practice. Where any incidents occur that may have the potential to cause harm, BARDOC will act in a timely manner, investigating, reflecting, learning and where appropriate to do so, share information to reduce the risk of reoccurrence. BARDOC understands that there are two different types of candour which are statutory duty and professional duty. BARDOC is regulated by the CQC under the statutory duty of candour and certain staff at BARDOC will also fall under the professional duty of candour.
CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY To maintain patient / colleague / third party confidentiality at all times. Respect equality, equal opportunity and diversity principles. Attend meetings and provide reports as appropriate to the role. Work closely with colleagues to achieve improvements in the quality and efficiency of patient services.
Ensure that all BARDOCs policies and procedures are adhered to and where necessary implement changes to support the operation of BARDOC. Work with colleagues to ensure that BARDOC meets all of its corporate responsibilities including finance, waiting times, corporate and clinical governance and health and safety. Adhere to the standards laid down in the code of conduct relevant to the post and at all times act in a manner that promotes the values of BARDOC. Maintain awareness of local and national requirements and standards including NQRs, NICE guidelines, CQC directives etc.
Participate in the personal development review process. Participate in appropriate mandatory training. Participate in any internal investigations as required. Ensure the preservation of BARDOCs property and resources.
Report any adverse incidents as appropriate. To work from other locations as requested and appropriate. Undertake any other reasonable duties. HEALTH & SAFETY BARDOC has a statutory responsibility to provide and maintain a healthy and safe environment for its staff, patients and visitors.
The post holder equally has a responsibility to ensure that they promote and maintain a safe working environment; reporting appropriately any risks. BARDOCs Health and Safety policies outline staff responsibilities. INFORMATION GOVERNANCE To comply with Company policies and procedures relating to Information Governance. This will include, but not be limited to, Confidentiality policies, record management protocols, the Information Security Policy, The Data Protection Act, The Freedom of Information Act etc.
The post holder shall not, during or after your employment, disclose confidential information belonging to the company. You have a responsibility to protect and maintain confidentiality of all information. You must not, except as authorised or required by law or your duties, reveal any confidential information. This obligation will continue after the termination of this employment unless and until any such information enters the public domain.
SAFEGUARDING VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND ADULTS Staff are responsible for ensuring that they are familiar with and adheres to BARDOCS / the ICBs safeguarding procedures and guidelines in conjunctions with the safeguarding Childrens and Adult Board Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
