PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE

As the new Business Development Manager in our Bioenergy and Power-Generation group you will play a leading, client facing role in translating customer enquiries into high quality technical and commercial proposals. This will include developing consulting projects, providing strategic advice to clients, and driving business development initiatives.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will collaborate closely with new prospects and existing clients, together with Ramboll project management and tender teams, and apply your commercial and technical expertise to support account new business initiatives. This will include;

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Significant and measurable experience in the biofuels industry, with a proven track record in technology, consulting or project management roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of biofuels production technologies, feedstock logistics, lifecycle analysis, and sustainability standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in economic modelling and data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ambitions of leadership and team management, with capabilities in mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory frameworks in the biofuels sector
