Description:

Black Bear Sports Group- Business Development Manager
Responsible for BBSG employee and tier 1 and tier 2 hockey club members corporate perks program relationships and marketing and sponsorship lead generation as assigned
Full time, exempt, $ 50,000 base salary annually, full benefits + variable incentives based on specific results
Reports to Sr. Director of Sales and Marketing

Responsibilities include:

  • Soliciting specific national and regional products and services providers to establish contractual arrangements that provide for proprietary value-added discounts and other incentives to BBSG employees and tier 1 and tier 2 hockey club members as well as potential reciprocal program discounts at BBSG arenas for their employees and customers
  • After establishing a relationship and contracting with specific national and regional products and services providers that provide for proprietary value-added discounts and other incentives to BBSG employees and tier 1 and tier 2 hockey club members, solicit a meeting with the lead for marketing and sponsorship so opportunities with BBSG can be advanced
  • Solicit specific marketing and sponsorship lead meetings with targeted company categories /companies in each of the BBSG arena geographies and or regional or national synergies as appropriate
  • Maintain proprietary value-added discounts and other incentives to BBSG employees and tier 1 and tier 2 hockey club members on-line portal on an ongoing basis
  • Provide content and data support as needed for presentation materials as assigned

B.A. in related field and 3 to 5 years of business development experience in the sports industry preferred
