Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships. As a Business Development Manager at Blue Yonder, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving the adoption of our solutions, tools & technology, and optimize our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Create strategy to drive team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, pre-sales, and marketing leaders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored messaging that meet client needs and drive value.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews
- Track team effectiveness and results
- Create and foster a culture that drives high performance and development of team members
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management.
- Recruit and retain world class business development talent
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, management, or a similar role, preferably within the supply chain or technology industry.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and technology solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with team and attend industry events.
