The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Service Operations in Christchurch. The BDM will be developing, implementing and maintaining an effective sales strategy to drive new business revenue growth across NZ Service Business.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Develop, execute and maintain an effective strategy to generate leads and opportunities to achieve sales KPIs.
- Develop and implement an ongoing sales call cycle plan using the company CRM, ensuring all client contacts are prioritized based on a three-tier system.
- Actively prospect and develop proposals for SLAs, service upgrades, audits, repairs, service events, safety upgrades, and custom spare parts in industrial automation.
- Proactively manage SalesForce data to accurately track prospecting, opportunity validation, and ensure precise reporting is accurately reflected in activity levels and forecasting.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in business development, with a proven ability to generate new leads and close deals.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Service environment would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the industrial automation industry would be advantageous.
- Right to live and work in New Zealand/Australia permanently.
- Be customer and results focused, have integrity, and be a proven team-player.
