BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Responsibilities:
Working as part of the Zirconium Business Development team, you will manage opportunities within the Clean Energy Sector and generate new openings in this market, your duties will include:
- Innovative approach to develop and drive opportunities with current and prospective customers
- Identify, Generate, and commercialise new and existing opportunities
- Manage existing customer portfolio in this area
- Market and Product Development
- Manage the Opportunity Pipeline for the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells area
- Build business case for long term investment in the area
- Working closely with the Technical / R&D Teams and local Universities and producing literature for new product and market areas
- Participating in the innovation of the product portfolio and helping shape future markets for growth
- Attending and representing the company at industry conferences and exhibitions
- Travelling to meet customers, distributors, and to events
- Any other duties within the post holder’s competence as requested.
What you’ll need to be considered for this Business Development Manager role:
- Experience gained working in a Business Development role, with a strong technical background, ideally gained in the Chemicals Industry
- Positive approach and results-driven, with a focus on insight and strategy
- Knowledge of CRM software systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Self-motivated with ability to use own initiative, prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
- Ability to work unsupervised with good time management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to travel internationally
Although not essential, being educated to degree level within a science subject would be advantageous.
