Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE AT VEEZU:

As a Business Development Manager, you will have a significant impact and help shape the future of our business. The business development manager will work alongside the regional sales manager as an integral part of the commercial team. You will work with the clear objective of growing sales and influencing both customer relationships and activity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead end-to-end deal processes and negotiating complex deals.
  • Work in partnership with the marketing team to ensure a collaborative approach to business growth is engaged.
  • Continually achieve set KPIs / targets and focus on activities that result in business growth and sales outcomes.
  • Develop new business account revenues and completed bookings in your region.
  • Deliver profitable sales ensuring pricing controls are maintained in line with regional limits of authority.
  • Create a lead generation process with the support of local management and marketing to ensure the sales pipeline is maintained to pre-agreed levels.
  • Follow up on any generated leads and referrals leading to a consistently improving lead conversion rate.
  • Provide a bespoke service to our established clients, upsell products, improve efficiency, and tailor a service to fit their needs.
  • Manage the initial integration of new sales ensuring they are embedded professionally.
  • High levels of customer service, accurate billing and efficient query handling to be established.
  • Communicate and liaise with new customers / clients and relevant internal staff to ensure effective resolution of any issues and concerns.
  • Recommend potential improvements to or new products and services to management by collecting customer information and analysing customer needs.
  • Report on information for Commercial Team meetings.
  • Roll out advertising materials / booking devices to key businesses, ensuring an accurate inventory of all devices (i.e., Taxi Booker) is maintained.
  • Work closely with Veezu Marketing to target promotions and awareness.
  • Work alongside operations on new territory expansions.
  • Be committed to maintaining our ISO27001 certification and set high standards for Information Security compliance.
