Description:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) for our client’s Project Management Practice is a high-energy, results-driven “hunter” with a proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. This role demands a strategic sales leader who can aggressively expand our client’s market presence, leveraging their extensive network and industry expertise to drive significant revenue growth.
Le Business Development Manager (BDM) pour la pratique de la gestion de projet de notre client est un « chasseur » énergique, axé sur les résultats, qui a fait ses preuves en matière d’identification, de poursuite et de conclusion de nouvelles opportunités commerciales. Ce rôle exige un leader commercial stratégique capable d’étendre de manière agressive la présence de notre client sur le marché, en tirant parti de son vaste réseau et de son expertise du secteur pour générer une croissance significative du chiffre d’affaires.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 10 years of Business Development experience in one or more of the following industries:
  • Oil & Gas
  • Utilities
  • Manufacturing
  • Heavy Industrial
  • Architecture & Construction
  • Minimum 5 years of Services business development experience managing large customer accounts
  • Proven expertise in Project Management outsourcing/consulting engagements, including:
  • Full Project Lifecycle Management
  • Project Planning & Controls
  • Project Quality & Safety
  • Construction & Field Management
  • Outage & Turnaround Support
  • Architectural Modeling & Documentation
  • Procurement & Supply Chain
  • Experience driving revenue within EPC model (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Controls, Owner’s Representation, and Scheduling
  • Strong knowledge of engineering, utility, and energy sectors
  • Baccalauréat requis

  • Soutien à l’arrêt et au redressement
  • Modélisation architecturale et documentation
  • Approvisionnement et chaîne d’approvisionnement
  • Expérience de la génération de revenus dans le cadre d’un modèle EPC (ingénierie, approvisionnement, construction)
  • Expérience avérée en matière de contrôle de projet, de représentation du maître d’ouvrage et de programmation.
  • Solide connaissance des secteurs de l’ingénierie, des services publics et de l’énergie.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with sales/CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication skills for executive-level presentations
  • Proven ability to align customer goals with company solution offerings
  • Ability to travel within the US up to 50% of the time
  • Project Management Consulting experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the Project Management Practice, focusing on high-value, strategic accounts
  • Utilize professional networks to generate leads and secure meetings with key decision-makers
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to penetrate new accounts and industries
  • Consistently meet or exceed new business targets and revenue goals
  • Create and implement innovative account strategies to rapidly expand market share
  • Lead complete sales cycles from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure
  • Develop proposals, RFP responses, and presentations that effectively communicate value propositions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities with accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities
