The Role:
As Trip.com continues to experience business growth in the Oceania region, we have a fantastic opening for a driven and commercially savvy Senior Airline Account Manager to join our welcoming team in Sydney.
Reporting to the Airline Director - Oceania, you will be tasked with developing and implementing the airline commercial strategy aimed at enhancing growth and market share throughout the Oceania region. This position involves overseeing airline initiatives and strategic projects that establish Trip.com as a premier Online Travel Agency partner in the area.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with teams in Australia as well as across the APAC region, hence we seek someone who is flexible, innovative, and a collaborative team player!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for establishing good cooperative relations and daily maintenance with air ticketing agencies , negotiating business agreements, and being responsible for the final implementation, establishing and maintaining strong cooperative relations with partners
According to the sales targets of air ticket business in the region, decompose and formulate and implement sales plans, and explore sales opportunities
Internal communication, cooperation and expansion with various departments of Trip (including but not limited to overseas business colleagues, marketing, product team, revenue management and operation teams)
Analyze complex data and use powerful insights to promote revenue growth and market share of flight business
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree or above, preferred with 5 years experience in a similar role in the airline industry
Background and understanding of airlines, ticket agency or GDS
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, logical thinking skills, and project management skills
In-depth understanding of the tourism industry, and experience in travel technology products is preferred
Keen market sense, strong data statistical analysis ability, clear thinking, and result-oriented
Excellent business coordination ability, strong pressure resistance, and ability to work independently
Language ability: Proficient in English
