Job Description
Eurofins Forensic Services is the European market leader in forensic DNA and toxicology testing serving the police and legal sector, as well as the industry and private clients. Our Forensic Genetics and Forensic Toxicology laboratories offer an extraordinarily broad analytical portfolio, and our state-of-the-art technology is complemented by innovative in-house developments, driven by teams of internationally renowned scientific experts.

Business Development Manager will be tasked to contribute to the significant growth of the Eurofins Forensic Services business – our start-up initiative in the Italian market. Responsibilities:

  • Leading business development activities in the given territory based on the business strengths and needs unique to the region.
  • Collaborating with the leadership on the strategy execution to meet the business growth objectives, structure new deals and build upon existing business relationships.
  • Strengthening the market position by creating, nurturing, and closing new business relationships to ensure consistent and rapid growth in sales.
  • Screening the market potential by analyzing direct competitors, identifying potential targets, and evaluating opportunities to convert generated leads to clients and bring the new business effectively to the Group.
  • Participating in congresses, seminars, and industry events to increase the brand visibility and recognition.
  • Acquiring further market knowledge by identifying and monitoring industry trends, customers drivers, major industry players and main decision makers.
  • Performing other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications
Education: degree in life science is a plus but candidates from other academic fields will be also considered.
Experience: experience in the forensic sector (genetics, toxicology…) and/or working with law enforcement forces, with at least 3 years of professional experience in sales or business development.
Skills/abilities: excellence in establishing and nurturing relationships combined with a customer-centric approach.
Ability to design and execute business development strategy to contribute to the strategic direction of the business.
Strong aggressive business development skills with a hunter and winning mentality, drive for results, proactive and can-do attitude, especially in driving footprint in new areas, with new clients.
Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good English skills (verbal and written).
Secure use of IT solutions.
