QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsibilities:
- Sales Prospecting and Customer Engagement: Identify and lead strategic engagement with customers on products and markets
- Conduct proactive outbound prospecting to follow-up on new leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels. This includes incoming quote requests and tradeshow leads.
- Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Edmund Optics products and services. Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and target application spaces
- Attend internal and external trainings and technical conferences as appropriate.
- Customer Solutions: Work closely with customers to understand their unique requirements and coordinate product solutions that meet their technical and business needs.
- Knowledge and solutions shall include Standard product and modified standard options.
- Work closely with manufacturing services team team to hand-off and receive custom and volume manufacturing opportunities as necessary.
- Market Informed Research:
- Network with industry leaders and key influencers to ensure that the EO product and technology roadmaps align with what is needed in the market.
- Represent EO at major industry events: congresses, conventions, trade shows.
