Description:
EXPERIENCE:
- Solid academic qualification preferred in technical domain, or equivalent business experience.
- 10+ years-experience in the aerospace market (i.e. Aircraft Performance Engineer, Commercial Airline Pilot).
- Subject matter expert in Aircraft Performance and Avionics.
- Subject matter expert in Flight Safety and Flight Efficiency.
- Proven experience working in complex, multi-cultural and highly matrixed organizations.
- Experience of interfacing directly with senior levels of management internally and externally.
- Proven experience in a management role or customer facing position and establishing customer relationships.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Outstanding external and internal communication skills.
- Competitive knowledge of industry and related solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Aircraft Performance and Avionics.
- In-depth knowledge of Flight Efficiency (all phases of flight).
- Airline operations processes (commercial passenger / freighter aircraft).
- Strong consultative approach.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Commercially and technically minded, driven by results.
- Team player.
- Excellent command of English language (verbal and written).
- Willing to travel as required.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
This person is responsible for promoting SITA For Aircraft’s Flight Optimization and Fuel Efficiency products and solutions to drive growth with existing and new customers in the aerospace market (airlines, aircraft, and equipment OEMs). Successful candidate will be tasked with pre-sales commercial support of the solutions in the assigned geography. This position is meant for an experienced airline professional that can deliver results in a dynamic environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Working with all relevant stakeholders to develop the solution target market, the value proposition, and key differentiators.
- Promoting value and benefit of the solutions/product to customers.
- Acting as an authority to advise customers on the best match between SITA For Aircraft solutions and business requirements.
- Demonstrating clear first hand experience and knowledge of aircraft flying operations.
- Identifying customer needs/drivers and providing feedback to SITA For Aircraft Product Teams about solution requirements, issues and challenges to drive the market.
- Presenting at CxO & DFO level and attending industry events.
- Managing and maintaining excellent business relationships with local partners and Customers in assigned region.
