QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any field.
- More than 5 years of experience in sales or business development role.
- Proven experience in business development and client acquisition
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and target new clients, industries, and sectors for recruitment services. Generate leads and establish a pipeline of potential clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, understanding their staffing needs and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities. Stay updated on changes in labour laws and regulations.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to meet revenue and growth targets. This may include cold calling, email campaigns, client meetings, and presentations.
- Service Offerings: Promote and tailor recruitment services to meet clients’ specific needs, including permanent placement, temporary staffing, executive search, or other specialized services.
- Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Prepare and present proposals and negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients. Ensure that terms are mutually beneficial and in compliance with company policies.
- Networking: Build and maintain a strong professional network within the industry. Attend industry events, job fairs, and conferences to expand business connections.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure efficient delivery of staffing solutions and meet client expectations.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as revenue targets, client acquisition, conversion rates, and customer retention.
ROLE
- Make sales calls to new and existing clients and cross-selling to generate business leads
- Meet clients to build positive relationships and clientele
- Assist in sales campaigns to present relevant products and services to clients.
- Build a pipeline through outbound activities and develop new qualified opportunities.
- Manage incoming inquiries and leads generated from our Sales and Marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and various Partners to develop a robust leads pipeline. This includes database marketing, participation in trade events, hosting virtual and in-person information sessions.
- Maintain a healthy opportunity funnel, engage in self-prospecting, and monitor progress.
- Generate reports on pipeline, projections, and lead propensity.
- Provide proactive feedback and recommendations to enhance our Programmes, lead quality, and processes.
- Work closely with Partners to achieve our learner progression and revenue targets.
- Create lead generation Programmes to mitigate risks associated with meeting sales targets.
