  • Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in leading sustained change and change management efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively problem solve.
  • Well-developed listening skills and a strong ability to engage at a variety of levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations.
  • Advanced skills in putting clear strategy on paper (i.e., PowerPoint) a must.
  • Good leadership Level of P&L/Ops Mgrs./GMs

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

  • The Business Development Manager Horizontal Construction, reporting to the Head Distribution Expansion of Topcon, is responsible for leading, planning, overseeing, and coordinating Topcon’s expansion in the area of responsibility, which is Scandinavia & Baltic regions : Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland plus, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to achieve its goals.
  • Responsible for the expansion strategy and deployment, in collaboration with Sales Management EMEA.
  • The successful candidate will work effectively in a collaborative team environment, be detail oriented, quality focused, high energy and flexible in a dynamic and fast-moving business.

CORE JOB DUTIES

  • Work in a team environment, possess strong attention to detail, a focus on quality, high energy, and flexibility in a fast-paced division of growth.
  • Responsible for the new market expansion playbook, ensuring streamlined, standardized and efficient roll out of new markets.
  • Help & support growth of the division: Forecasting, Training, Infrastructure.
  • Ensure the Product roadmap aligns with business priorities and strategy; (GO TO Market analyse)
  • Prepare presentations and follow up action plans to help drive forward strategic initiatives, and report results to stakeholders internally and externally on key milestones.
  • Participate and help prepare for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review meetings, in alignment with priorities and KPIs of our company.
  • Must manage with a high degree of confidentiality and use discretion when disseminating information on client projects/forecasting/future. Plans.
  • Provide innovative and strategic thinking that ultimately leads to increased Business levels and profitable division within TOPCON.
  • Support, and execution of BUSINESS EXPANSION programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement, always with safety as top priority.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and attend industry events to stay abreast of new initiatives and ways to stay ahead.
  • Identify or propose development and contract expansion opportunities including pricing/costing, and negotiations.
  • Evaluate performance of his team members for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and in attaining objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
