    My client is an established company in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, and they are looking for a valued individual to join their newly expanded team as a Business Development Manager, targeting the SEA region and in future, Europe region.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This BDM (hunter) role is focused on driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and fostering strong relationships with distributors and partners for my client’s own brand products.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and market penetration in the regional market within the consumer packaged goods industry
  • Knowledge and experience in trade marketing for consumer products is a must

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the business targets are met and trade marketing activities are implemented accordingly.
  • Working with the distributors on achieving topline business KPIs, the incumbent will ensure that business plans and programs are implemented and executed excellently.
  • building his/her existing international business portfolio through expansion of products, categories, and/or geography.
  • drive sustainable business growth through boosting sales, expanding product distribution, identifying new categories for growth, and forging strong relationships with the distributor team in the market.
  • Lead in the execution of all plans, programs and activities for the distributor market as outlined by the marketing calendar for that market.
  • Coordinate all Public Relations events in the market as outlined in the Public Relation Activities plan.
  • Coordinate, manage and implement all business plans and programs approved by the International Business Group.
  • Provide regular update key stakeholders on the business plans and execution status of the programs.
  • Market checks to ensure shelves are stocked, competitor pricing/promo checks and reporting and feedback on trends/category developments in market
