Role: Business Development Manager
Hours: 40 per week, flexible working
Base: Remote, with travel to Junkyard Golf Club Shoreditch
Reporting into: General Manager/Managing Director
Salary: £38,000 per annum, plus uncapped bonus

As our Shoreditch Business Development Manager you will be driving the growth of our Shoreditch venue, across East London & beyond, by promoting existing partnerships, identifying and building new relationships, and championing Junkyard Golf Club as the number one venue for competitive socialising!
A confident self-starter, you’ll jump straight in and advocate our brand to existing and potential partnerships in our communities. You’ll have a strong track record as a BDM, and ideally, you’ll hold strong knowledge of the local area in the hospitality/leisure sector. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, be motivated by exceeding our sales goals, & drive an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential new clients and partnerships to expand the Junkyard Golf Club Shoreditch customer base.
  • Work with the venue & wider team to develop and implement strategies to attract and win new business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including event organizers, local businesses, hospitality venues, corporate clients and communities.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Use insights to refine business development strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations to showcase the value of the Junkyard Golf Club proposition
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent Junkyard Golf Club.
  • Maximise sales by supporting off-peak times with ideas and initiatives via existing and new contacts, in line with business objectives.
