YOUR PROFILE

  • Experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience in software sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Tools - Proficiency in sales tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Industry Knowledge - Strong understanding of the Industrial Automation space
  • Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Language - Fluency in both German and English
  • Education - Preferred associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

AMDT is actively seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams. We are looking for a motivated, engaging, and well-rounded individual who will be responsible for managing both inbound and external leads for the sales team.

YOUR TASKS

  • Lead Management - Qualify and manage inbound leads from marketing, in addition to outbound prospecting focused on the Manufacturing industry
  • Customer Engagement - Contact prospective customers in the assigned area to determine their needs and degree of interest in the company’s products and services
  • Sales Demonstration - Schedule or conduct web sales demonstrations and maintain detailed notes in the lead tracking system. Ensure resources are available for effective demos when needed
  • Product and Competitior Knowledge - Be knowledgeable about the company’s products and services, as well as the activities of competitors
  • Customer Relationship Management - Maintain positive customer relationships to maximize product/service satisfaction, obtain new sales, and strengthen existing relationships
  • Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with the rest of the sales team and other departments such as marketing, customer service, and sales support
