  • Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in the event technology or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of event planning, technology tools, and solutions for event management.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the events technology industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Strategy Development
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies in the event industry.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential segments for business expansion.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Identify prospective clients, including event organizers, corporations, venues, and agencies.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and align company offerings.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including initial outreach, pitching, contract negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and technical teams to ensure the company’s offerings align with market needs.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell technology solutions to existing and new clients.
  • Deliver on revenue and growth targets through effective lead generation and closing strategies.
  • Event Participation & Networking
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase products and build brand awareness.
  • Establish a strong presence in the event technology ecosystem to generate business leads.
  • Reporting & Performance Metrics
  • Monitor and report sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.
  • Use CRM and data analytics tools to maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecast growth.
