JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the company’s growth strategy, we are looking for an ambitious, experienced and collaborative Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele, actively seek out business opportunities, and drive measurable results.
Our ideal candidate will be able to create, execute, oversee, and refine an effective sales strategy that expands our reach, increases revenue, strengthens client relationships, and share knowledge to our sales professionals. He / She has to be also technically proficient to understand technical terms to better serve the customer.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales, forge strong relationships with clients, and set our company apart.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- BSc/BA in any technical field (e.g. Engineering; IT; etc.), Business Administration, sales or relevant field. MBA would be a plus.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of similar experience, preferably in a technology industry
- Demonstrated sales success in Green Field projects (new initiatives)
- Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques at different stages
- Excellent project management skills
- Possesses superior negotiation and networking skills, to establish Win-Win situations
- Must be analytical in nature
- Have proven track record to meet or have exceeded sales targets
- Proficiency in English is a must. Additional regional related language skills are a plus
- Market knowledge of IoT devices will be an added advantage
- Ability to build rapport, and have excellent time management, as well as planning skillsWillingness to travel, as and when required

Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, monitor, and refine a Go-To-Market business strategy, focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Develop Win Plans (Deal Plans) to monitor the progress of engagements, identify issues early on to monitor sales progress (to ensure that corporate goals are being met).
- Understands Customer’s Buying Patterns and Trends, actively listen to customers, identify key stakeholders and gate keepers to meet Win Plan.
- Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions, identify new markets and customer needs.
- Ability to conduct lead generation activities, as well as promote the company’s products through different initiatives or channels: website improvement, trade-shows, networking events, execute webinars, etc.
- Must have a consultative selling approach – understand customer requirements and pain-points to address the issue.
- Create & maintain records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Craft Engineering Technical terms into simple layman terms for people to understand and consume the information
- Seek out business partnerships to expand footprint, including tapping on current eco-system
- Work with regional offices to harmonize BD efforts and solicit / share experiences to optimize strategies and efforts
- Critique and review sales strategy and execution plan to assess gaps and opportunities based on stakeholder’s feedback in order to improve business processes, as well as present market needs back to company stakeholders / Engineering Team with insights gained on the field.Demonstrated leadership skills to challenge the status-quo
