Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE:
Business Development role responsible for translating vendor/technology growth plans internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments. Aligned with marketing on MDF and with the wider sales organisation on specialised opportunities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under clear managerial direction
- Negotiation of key tenders and large deals wi th complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.
- Optimises results by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification, on-boarding and other business development initiatives
- Demonstrates a solid customer engagement strategy including multiple parties and levels that drives successful business outcomes
- Demonstrates application of TD SYNNEX resources to clearly assist customer in meeting their strategic objectives.
- Ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution
- Drives overall vendor management Creates customer unique selling propositions that protects Margin integrity and promotes long term value based customer engagement
- Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share
- Relationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the “Trusted Advisor”
- Full knowledge of assigned Vendor’s product / service line
- Develops tailored customer value propositions against clear understanding of customer business requirements
- Maintains Full knowledge of assigned Vendor’s product / service line
