Description:

Optegra has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our amazing and dynamic team in the South. The ideal candidate will be responsible to increase the number of referrers (Opticians and GPs) within responsible sales region; to secure new referrals from a designated pipeline of non referring opticians and some GPs; to engage directly with non referrers and sell the benefits of Optegra’s cataract services, excellent patient care, referral pathways, and five-star hospitals; to manage newly onboarded referrers until end of financial year. EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable sales experience of winning new business and successful cold calling
  • Demonstrable sales experience and achievements in a territory sales role
  • Proven track record of building customer relationships and stakeholder management

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Able to manage pipeline of new business / referrers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage own workload.
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Demonstrable proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and CRM
  • Highly organised, with clear forward planning and ability to flex according to customer needs

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for winning new referrers in line with named targets across sales Region.
  • Required to navigate different cataract pathways and remove obstacles for referral.
  • Responsible for LOC engagement and commercial investments including client entertainment.
  • Accountable for maintaining new business/referrer pipeline and funnel in SalesForce.
  • Responsible for managing expenses budget related to new business generation.
  • Responsible for recording all key customer interactions within SalesForce.
  • Responsible for handing over new referrers (after 12 months from initial referral) to ADM.
