Description:
Pearson VUE is looking for a Business Development Manager to help us win and support new customers across the UK, European and African regions. In this role, you will focus on selling Pearson VUE services and solutions, often combined with other Pearson offerings, to secure large, multi-year contracts. The objective is to understand our prospects’ challenges and help them to identify opportunities and deliver solutions that will help them grow their certification programmes and improve their business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of identifying and qualifying new business opportunities that fit Pearson VUE’s offerings.
- Stay up-to-date on our products and services.
- Create and deliver professional presentations to clients and prospects.
- Respond to clients, prospects, and partners promptly and professionally.
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline in the Pearson VUE CRM system and share updates with the team.
- Follow our bid management process closely, involving the right teams and ensuring top-quality proposals for RFQs, RFPs, and tenders.
- Take the lead on key aspects of sales proposals, including solution design, partner involvement, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Build a strong understanding of your assigned market sector and keep an eye on trends and opportunities.
- Represent Pearson VUE at events like seminars and exhibitions.
- Keep the team updated on your progress, with regular reports and contributions to meetings.
- Aim to meet 3–4 prospects/customers each week to keep things moving forward.
