QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- No fear approach to new business development through cold-calling and networking and a successful track record to back it up
- Experience working with and exceeding targets
- Self starter mentality
- Exemplary listening skills
- Organization and follow up skills
- Proven ability to build rapport and develop strong business relationships
- CRM experience (e.g. Hubspot or similar)

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
As our newest Business Development Manager, you will build and develop relationships with potential and current clients across Canada and the US, with the goal of winning new business and growing a small portfolio of existing business.
You are fluent in digital advertising economics including CPM, CPC, ROAS and can sell the benefits of an exclusive channel to potential advertisers. In addition, you will leverage your existing relationships to establish opportunities with performance-based advertisers and generate new leads by prospecting new business opportunities. You can increase the value of current customers, while attracting new ones. You will actively participate in industry conferences and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify prospects and decision makers, using CRM tools to reach new partners
- Create and manage a pipeline of prospects and current accounts across Canada and the US
- Leverage any existing relationships to establish opportunities such as performance-based advertisers
- Create proposals for prospective clients, based on their business needs and objectives
- Partner with Marketing to drive qualified inbound leads
- Identify and understand clients’ advertising needs and develop digital solutions; with customized sales presentations.
