QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years of experience in market research & analysis.
- Understanding of business development leads and pipeline management.
- Strong understanding of competitors’ analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Google spreadsheets.
- At least 1 year of experience in business development & outreach.
- Fluent English.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ruby Labs is hiring a Business Development Specialist for one of its portfolio products. In this role, you will maintain and execute the company’s business development workflow and operations and help establish relationships with companies that will contribute to the company’s tech stack. You will play a significant role in the company’s core product roadmap.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform market research on the data suppliers.
- Use Google, Similarweb, and Semrush for research.
- Find data suppliers that match our acceptance criteria.
- Perform outreach to data suppliers.
- Request data samples and trial API access.
- Evaluate data quality provided by the supplier.
- Negotiate better pricing with data suppliers.
- Design a map of data suppliers that covers our needs across different regions.
- Manage data suppliers’ pipeline from outreach to samples/API evaluation.
